Anyone seen the movie "The Santa Clause"? It is interpreted as a child would hear "The Night Before Christmas" and rather than "there arose such a cladder" the movie contains a "Rose-Suchak Ladder". Well, this song in my mind until this very night when googling for it has been "Old Ang-zi" :D.

I hope you'll join me in appreciating this song as we usher in a New Year here at Talk-Grace. This year old friends have come home, and new friendships formed. It has been both heart warming and challenging and I am so very glad for my far away (yet close in heart) friends and having shared that with you all. I mean that from the mostest innerest parts I can muster ;). Seriously, I love you all.

Auld Lang Syne

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And days of auld lang syne!

Chorus:
For auld lang syne, my dear
For auld lang syne,
We’ll take a cup o’ kindness yet
For auld lang syne!

We twa hae run about the braes,
And pu’d the gowans fine,
But we’ve wander’d mony a weary foot
Sin’ auld lang syne.

We twa hae paidl’t in the burn
Frae morning sun till dine,
But seas between us braid hae roared
Sin’ auld lang syne.

And there’s a hand, my trusty fiere,
And gie’s a hand o’ thine,
And we’ll tak a right guid willie-waught
For auld lang syne!

And surely ye’ll be your pint-stoup,
And surely I’ll be mine!
And we’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet
For auld lang syne!
