Have any of you read the Celestine Prophecy book(s)? Written by James Redfield

Christy,
I haven't - if you don't mind, what's it about?

You know, I'm almost embarrassed to talk about it, because it seems a little "out-there", but I am into that kind of stuff and I just had to know if any of you all had read the book.
The Celestine Prophecy is a fictional book that follows a man on a spiritual journey. On the way he uncovers many "insights" into spiritual enlightenment. The book seems to mix many Eastern religious themes and ideas into this spiritual enlightenment process.
He has written other non-fiction books all based on this spirituality that he portrays in The Celestine Prophecy. They are making this book into a movie to be released this summer I believe. I first read the book about 10 years ago when I was in college. And am re-reading it now, by chance.
It's a fun book, but also many of the thoughts shared seem to gel with what I have learned on my own spiritual journey over the last 10 years.

Christy,
I flipped through the site some and there looked to be some positive things to learn there. Since seem to like the very spiritual, you may enjoy reading this too: http://onelifeministries.org/
