One response to freedom is wanting other people to experience and feel how we feel. Admittedly, I wish that other people could feel the same freedom and lifting of burden that I have.
The movie "Tommy" did a good job of showing how that even with the best intentions, that response can lead to mistakes and hard lessons.. when we try and define "how" for everyone, uniformly.
So what is "saved to serve" then? How can we not serve? Is architecture important? What about window washing? Which is not service?
I like the idea of following Jesus out of the temple, yet have I left it if I create new laws? Have I left it if I condemn the people who do create new laws?
I dunno, just thinking.
