Hi all,
This was the first rock I threw in my rock pile. Though my dad looks good, he is very sick and it took a lot of help to get him out side.
We had a work day this weekend and painted the old garage. It had stood the test of time, just as my dad had.
I am so thankful for you guys and the healing I have experienced with my dad. Because of learning about God's love for me and his grace I was able to let a lot go.
I asked God not to let him die until I was at peace with who he was. That prayer was answered. He is 88 and I am 57. Didn't happen overnight, but it happened.
I want you all to know that there can be healing in relationships no matter how difficult they are.
I truly thank God for this blessings.
