I first interpreted this group of "sexist vintage ads" as directed at women. I seems like I was intended to. What about how men are presented here as well? A bunch of shallow people who look for reasons to cheat? Have we ALL come a long way? Hmmm...

I have blackish brown hair with some silver now running through it.
Back in the summer, my husband and I were riding bikes and we got to a point where we were side by side. He had a big smile on his face. :)

I asked him what he was smiling about.. He said "I saw the silver strands in your hair and it made me happy. It made me think that if 20 years ago when we first together, if someone had given me a glimpse of this day, you riding bikes with me, you with silver in your hair, (us being together after all these years)... it would have made me SO HAPPY."

Although I have a full head of hair, I HATE the hair club for men type ads. How shallow do they think women are? I know quite a large number of bald or balding men - they all have beautiful wives who love them very much.

I wish those companies would all go bankrupt, along with all those magazines that make women think they have to be as skinny as a stick to be considered beautiful - I say, YEAH for BBWs! Yeah for bald guys! Yeah for fat guys! Yeah for skinny women! Yeah for God's children!
