Yesterday evening/night, I went to my first concert (unless you count seeing Alabama after an Astros baseball game when I was a teen). Today, I have a headache and can't hear so well, lol!

I took my daughter - she was the one who begged me to do it. I know, I have a choice. I just wouldn't have even thought it over otherwise.

It was a great experience for both of us. For me, "rock stars" don't seem so distant. They just looked like people (albeit musically talented people) and at least a couple seemed to be dealing with issues like anyone else. Amanda said that she liked seeing the bands interact with each other, how funny some were, and hearing them talk. To me, that sounds like she also enjoyed seeing/experiencing their humanity.
