Discovery: I Shouldn't Be Alive Series

I just heard a man talk on Larry King Live and I had to come down and share it with you!

This man's story about survival in the Amazon Jungle will be on Discovery Channel's Series entitled: I Shouldn't Be Alive, and he has a book entitled: Jungle. Sorry but I didn't get his name.

I wanted to share this with you:

When Larry asked him about his faith he said that although he grew up in Israel, his father was an atheist and did not believe in God at all. However, he said that when you face a moment in your life when you fall down to your knees for help and you feel in your core the answers you are looking for -- the answers are in you -- that is faith, he said. He said he found this and his life will never be the same.

I thought that was great! I will be watching for the show to air on Discovery Channel.

My husband and I love that show and watch it whenever we get a chance. I haven't seen that episode, but I'll be looking for it. :)

Wow! We live a lot of our lives running from that nothingness that we believe situations like that put us in. In such a situation, it is amazing that people find that there is not nothing, and they are not alone.

I know folks who have the fulfilled view because they are so sure that God was with them through their childhood suffering.

Help me not to be afraid God,
teach me to love.
Give me strength to make it through,
Fasten me to hope.
Teach me what is right,
light my path.
