I can be a fumbler and pretty dingy -- especially when my nerves are rattled. I drop things and bump into people and forget stuff. I catch myself talking under my breath, "Calm down, it's gonna be ok."

I heard this song and it just smoothed me out. I don't know how else to describe it. Singing it to myself helps me to cope in situations when I feel all nervous and like there could be something wrong with me (haha).

After a while, I know that a different and more sure side of me will come out and I'll be laughing with whoever experienced my shy side about how I used to be; when we first began to know each other. (And hey, that doesn't mean that I'm cured. I am forever with some dingy tendencies!)

Rob Thomas is quoted describing what the song is about here (If you aren't comfy with cussing, don't click): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unwell

Amie- music is such a great help for coping!!!! I sing to myself alot when my nerves get frazzled. My trouble is i can't turn my mind off so many times and i secondguess over and over till i just exhaust my mind lol Music can break through my constant tapes playing in my head alot and help me to relax and cope better with whatever stress i face. Thanks so much for making this thread my friend :)
