Hi Tami, and everyone.
IMO the Judaziers are part of the serpent role. Christ is like Adam. The church like Eve. "Replaying" the original creation but this time with a different outcome.
But IMO we are seeing some of this taken down to the genders of not so much male and female but husband and wife in the church.
Some of our translation IMHO puts "women" where "wives" belongs.

It is even possible that the Judaizers (1 Tim. 1:3-7, 1:19-20, 1 Tim. 4:1-3, Titus 1:10-11) purposely targeted the wives (2 Tim. 3:1-7), and young widows (1 Tim. 5:12) with their teachings because of their teaching on marriage (1 Tim. 4:1-3) because of their view of an already fulfilled resurrection (2 Tim. 2:17). [This would have inferred that the old covenant mode had already changed but was left mostly intact. The destruction of the temple would have taught the judaizer not to blaspheme (1 Tim. 1:20). They having been delivered officially over by Paul to the serpent role.]
As such this reminds Paul of the Garden for which he speaks of metaphorically in 1 Tim. 2:8-15.
Whatever the situation, once the end had come, they then rested from their works (of role fulfillment).
IMHO our problems arise when we try to take on a fulfilled "role".
Additionally there is the habit of trying to overstate the significance of that "role".
Generally speaking a women could take a very predominant position in the first century church prophesying and teaching.
In my theory then many have inappropriately taken specific "role" deviations wherein a wife taught the "law" to her husband or the old covenant mode of existence and was dealt with on that level and so some have made it into a genetic or physical issue as opposed to a fulfillment issue of the last days.

On a similar note, in 1Cor. 11:1-16 concerns itself, "because of the angels". This means, because of the "law". The "worship of angels" in Col. 2:18 was the idolatry of the Judaizer. So Heb. chapter 1 and 2 deal with that which was delivered by angels and the supremacy of Christ over the angels. Where the world that was about to be was not in subjection to angels.
The "veil" then becomes obsolete.
JMO Sis. ;)
