You might be just as surprised as I was to learn that the music of "Lady GaGa" is very on par with our own beliefs. In a recent interview, she said that the entire point of her artistic expression is liberation.
At first, her song "Bad Romance" might sound like a commercial for "S&M" with an awesome beat, but the meaning beneath is much deeper. She was bullied in school and an outcast. It affected her a great deal. In her lyrics she expresses her desire to embrace every reject. She endearingly called her fans her "monsters" in the interview. She has a heart for the judged, the 'ugly', and the discarded.
