Going to a buffet with family and friends. I'm out of the kitchen this year...

We are having about 15 friends and family for Thanksgiving this year. Should be fun. My wife makes the best pumpkin pie in the world, no really, she does. :)

Thanks for sharing.
Our Canadian version in October was pretty laid back but still nice. Turkey and pumpkin pie. Surly nothing like what Doug is about to enjoy!
Just the immediate family. My mom "Ivy" is getting to see her grand children grow up and so these times together have a special meaning that way too.

We are going to my brother's for what my family lovingly calls "Gasoline Turkey!"
My sister gets a free Turkey every year from a business person and she gives it to my brother and he puts it on the grill. The trouble is, its 31 pounds and he uses a lot of lighter fluid to cook the thing.
We all hate it, but love all being together. So we go, play games, eat little and a big group of the family goes to Denny's later that night HA!
This is the first holiday without my dad, so that part and Christmas will be hard. But we will be together as a family and thats what seems to be most important to me and our kids.
Blessings to you all
Nancy
