Just a quick ramble to start this idea off:

As some of you know i work in the retail sector, and as such have quite an opportunity to get the "feel" of what people across a large sampling of the general population on what is breaking news or thought. That said, did any of you run accross people in the last few days that were literally shaking in their shoes over 6/6/6 calendar date??

Oh man. I sure have! Some of my coworkers (and many of these are Christian) were so concerned over today's date and that it was "The Devel's Day" (their words, I had not even given the date any thought. And as some of you know, when my family began their venture into cell phones, there were four phone numbers available, one had the suffex of 2666... I had to have that one just as an ice breaker! Trust me, it works!!!)

So, with our PretView on the world, isn't it nice to be a calming voice in the midst of the chaos and unrest about us? Now i can excuse my non-Christian friends as the media/Hollywood continues to bombard us with "Doom & Gloom", but, and as an EX Futurist i can state personaly; that in that state of mind, if i had dug deep within (well i suppose i did, cuz it led me to the P.V. with God's directing) I would have seen that my past view had in mind NOT a Glorious, All Powerful God, BUT A WEAK, lying, didn't pull-it-off as he said-he-would god. But it took GOD, and His big stick whacked upside my head for me to realize HE DID IT!..right on schedule.

So what am i doing today, 06/06/06? Praising a living, breathing, ever-present Friend, Redeemer, and Creator...that sees yesterday, today, and tomorrow all in the blink of an eye and has it all taken care of.

As my Australian born currency-trading buddies would say:

NO WORRIES MATE !

:) Me too! I'm so thankful that I'm not caught up in that fury any longer. It has been a long time since I was a part of it, and I can truly say I've had peace of mind about these things since coming out of it.
