What you are doing rings so loudly in my ears that I can't hear what you're saying.

My father didn't tell me how to live, he lived; and let me watch him do it.

What qualities would you hope your children will have? Patient? Forgiving? Strong? Wise?

I used to demand patience from my son thinking that taught patience. Then I learned that when I really want to teach, I have to do. I could talk and create laws for my children to keep until the cows come home but not any of it matters if I don't demonstrate such things.

Parenting is the epidemy of loving leadership and 'loving leadership' can be applied in many parts of our lives.

What do y'all think?

Then I learned that when I really want to teach, I have to do.

Something else came to mind -- Can a person "do patience" if they are not patient? In order to "do" something, must we "be" something?

Did God come to "do" for us through Jesus?

I hope my kids in-spite of my many mistakes will learn unconditional love. It can cover a multitude of things I have discovered on my journey:)

Christy,

I think that God is patience, therefore could do it. In other words, God came to "be" for us imo.

Nancy,

I pray that my children do through my many mistakes as well. I'm just so glad that they are free in this life no matter their choices.
