WomenBeyond embraces manhood and all that it entales. We look forward to listening to men so that we might better work together with them.

We view women as capable, strong people - who don't always feel that way. We feel that point-of-view is important. IE, if a woman were in the situation where she was receiving lower pay unfairly, and she saw herself as a victim even before that, her reaction would be more volitile and less thought out. If that woman embraced every part of herself for who she is and stood firmly on her two feet, she would certainly respond with clarity and strength.

I ask, are women like Jessica Simpson victims of exploitation, or are the men that buy their posters the victims? I suggest that the answer is that neither of them are victims and all of them have choice.

We been accused of being "apathetic" because we are absent defensive and offensive postures. Without anger, we respond to injustice. With love for ourselves, there is no need to defend who we are.

Today "feminine" is who we are as we define ourselves and we are not defined by the word. I look forward to learning just what "feminine" is in the truest sense. For me right this second, it's a sleepy Mother of two with sore feet and a dry throat :)

Good night,
