Carlton Pearson

Hi,
I watched a news show tonight about a Pastor called Carlton Pearson. Was wondering if anyone here had heard of him.
He had a huge church until recently, which he lost because he changed his preaching on hell. He doesn't believe there is a hell anymore and he believes all are saved, I guess he took a lot of grief for his new found beliefs eventually loosing his Church.
But he was asked to speak a a church where the pastor was a woman and a Lesbian and there were many in the congregation also with aides. He said they welcomed him and washed his feet. It really was a moving story.
Anyway, I sent him and e-mail and told him about talk-grace:) Don't know if he will show up.

You can download some quite brilliant mp3's of Carlton Pearson [HERE (http://www.sigler.org/audio-pearson.htm)] -- his style is somewhat pentecostal [which I have no problem with]. I think tapes 1, 3 and 5 are the best with #5 giving a good compilation of "inclusion". #3 is really encouraging in the aspect of outreach etc. But they are all good and worth listening to IMO.

On these recordings you will hear Carlton affirm his belief in "Hell" -- he just doesn't believe it is permanent -- he needs our fulfilled prophecy message on that one :)


PS: as a side issue -- are any of you having a problem with the audios on my site NOT working? I know Nancy has -- thanks for letting me know.
