Servant of my love

It was once the focus and center of my life to try and serve God. Sering God while always wondering if it was enough. And then taking pride is all that I'd done.
That focus has changed over the years.

With the direction that the fulfilled view has taken me, it now feels much more like being a servant to my love for Him. It's nothing to take pride in. It's just like loving your wife or your child or your friend.
You are not trying to prove anything just living out the relationship.

Does anyone else relate to this?

I vividly remember feeling that I was never "doing" enough.

I'm not quite sure if all the remnants of that thinking are gone. When I read the paper and hear about all the really worthwhile projects that people have going on, I wish I had the $$ to fund them all!
