My brother is an atheist. For many years I tried to witness to him, you know, trying to keep him out of hell. :( As a result, our relationship was strained. I very much regret that. But about a year ago I told him that he was probably closer to the truth than I was. He, no one, will go to hell; no future judgment is planned. I had been wrong.

He and I have a very much improved relationship now. :) In many ways I relate better with him than with Christians!

During our last phone call, he shared this link, “Free Hugs.” http://utubeblog.wordpress.com/2006/09/28/free-hug-guy-and-sick-puppies-on-youtube/ I thought you here would like it too. It’s so “Ray,” (my brother’s name.) It’s also how the fulfilled view makes me feel about the world right now. All are reconciled. All are united. All are hugged.

Thanks so much for sharing that Lynn:clap2:

Your story is very touching.

I have to believe that compassion, understanding and love can change the world.....even if it's just one relationship at a time:)

IMO these will change the world faster than any religion could ever claim to.

You’re right, Christy. Just like the “free hugs” guy, if I believe that God is thrilled to be with a certain person, then I tend to feel the same about that person. I'll "hug" her like God does. And you’re right, Christy, it’s one person, one relationship at a time. :)

That video literally brought tears to my eyes, it was soo moving!

I don't know that guy's religion or personal beliefs, but it was easy (for me) to see God in him.

It goes to show you that God is in us and believes in us, whether we believe in him or not.

I'm happy for your healing Lynn. I can relate to your story on a very personal level.

Thanks for that.
