Hi,
I am not one big on New Year's resolutions, but I decided with the wisdom and friendship I have gotten here, I would give myself a New Year's Resolution this year. And that is "To Know Thyself"
I spent so many years denying myself, trying to get over myself, and not even having a clue of who I was. I thought it was a big NO NO to even care about myself.
When you sit in churches like I did for years, preaching and yelling at the congregation about "walking in the Flesh" being Selfish and having moldy fruit all the time, I never had even a moment to think about me:biggrinbounce:
What I have learned so far on my journey here is I am worthy:clap2: I am unconditionally loved:clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
And my faith doesn't depend on what I do, but its based on who I am;)
So I have decided to go a step farther in my journey and healing. What is my favorite color?? What kind of class would I be interested in if I took one??? Can I be angry and mad and still have worth? Can I be loving and kind without a motive behind it?
Who am I really? (I am not totally sure at this point, but I think its something good!) :)
Can I really really really love myself unconditionally? God does, can I ?? That would be so huge for me.
Anyway,
From myself with blessings,
Nancy:biggrinbounce:
