Here's lesson # 56376 of "You know you're in youth ministry when..."

You know you're in youth ministry when an eleven-year-old girl walks up to you and asks, "You know that song <i>Let's Talk About Sex</i>? Is it about oral sex?"

And you respond...

"I think it's about any kind of sex and it's not really the kind of song you should be singing out loud in church."

And she contemplates that for a minute and says...

"I thought I'd run the question by you because when I asked my brother about it he told me that having sex is 'doing it', written sex is writing about it and oral sex is talking about it."

I lasted one year in youth ministry. Almost to the day.
