glad to have you here.
Both “a little about us” and “a little more” under Welcome at the top of the home page.
Not knowing a little about your own thoughts and views its a little hard to direct. And there is so much good stuff the "best" would be hard to find.

I would say that importance would depend on what area you are interested in :). Any particular subject interest you most?

Or..

Feel free to begin a thread on any subject that you wish. I'm sure it won't matter (it doesn't to me) if something accidentally gets covered again - or even again and again.
