I came across a new female author today and as I read through the website, I thought of some of you here and wanted to share.
Her name is Sera Beak and she has written a book called: The Red Book. It is about uncovering the divinity within and seems to be geared toward women. I have not read the book, but the site looks very interesting.www.serabeak.com

Christy,
Thanks for the link, it does look like a refreshing turn though I can't find the words to explain in what way just now.
I've read a few interesting discussions going on over here too: http://emergingwomen.blogspot.com/ though I haven't contributed yet. I intend to. The Colossians discussion looks especially interesting though I might be a little late in joining it by the time that I do (probably next week).
How have you been lately btw?
Amie

I didn't jump into the Colossians discussion, though they now graciously allow me to contribute posts to the blog. I'm looking forward to getting to know that group also.

Amie,
I will check out the emerging women discussion. I think that some of the emergent stuff looks good. Anything willing to push limits and open minds seems promising IMO.
I have been good, but busy. I have had time to briefly check out your updated site and it looks good.:clap2:

I agree!
Glad you like the new look. It's about time, huh?! :)

Hi Amie and girls : )
I was doing some research on spiritual evolution (Andrew Cohen's (http://www.andrewcohen.org/) stuff mainly as an extension to my current studies on Elkhart Tolle (http://www.eckharttolle.com/)) and came accross an interesting (to me!) article:
The Divine Feminine, Unveiled (http://www.wie.org/j39/divine-feminine.asp?page=2) by Elizabeth Debold. With a subtitle of; "Will embracing woman-centered spirituality take us beyond patriarchy?".
Just thought of you all when reading it.
Cheers,
Thom

Very interesting. As I read the article, I was struck by how many of the thoughts presented in it seem to be echoed already by all of us here. Thanks for the link, Thom :)

Thom and Paige,
WIE is a fascinating magazine, and (I dare say) a mush better publication today than it was even 5 years ago.
The staple of it is the Cohen/Wilber dialogues which are always enlightening and challenging. Cohen's emphasis on the evolution of consciousness is a key ingredient to the conversation on evolution in general -- one that people in the traditional religious world might be willing (if not eager) to embrace. Although, it might frighten some folks too, if they fear the idea of being active as creators.
Diebold is interesting and so is Barbara Marx Hubbard. Also, you might dig Michael Dowd (http://www.thegreatstory.org/who_we_are.html).
Blessings,
Kevin
