Picked up this CD at the library this week. Absolutely the most beautiful music I have ever listened to.:)
I would highly recommend going to your local library and checking it out.:biggrinbounce:

Just a little of the chorus from the first song called:
The Sky and the Dawn and the Sun

I am the Dawn, I'm the new day begun
I bring you the morning, I bring you the sun
I hold back the night and I open the skies
I give light to the world I give sight to your eyes
From the first of all time, until time is undone
forever and ever and ever and ever
and I am the Dawn and the sky and the Sun
I am one with the One..and I am the Dawn.

They have the PBS special on DVD now. My Son brought it home from the library for me last week, and I just loved watching it:biggrinbounce:

Being somewhat new to the board and trying to catch-up on the different topics of interest this one caught my eye.
Ten years ago or so I was in a shopping mall at Virginia Beach. I heard this beautiful music. It was The Chieftains. Since that time Celtic has become my favorite and I have a somewhat small collection including some of the artist on the PBS program. My favorite is Steve McDonald. A lot of his music is drawn from history but the ballad, "The Narrow Line", which deal with the path that we take in life speaks volumns to my spirit.
"We walk a lonely road, or so I have been told.
That life's a lonely journey for us all.
But here I'd like to say somewhere along the way,
We choose how we stand and how we fall."
