I'm really interested in preterist escatology. I'm start reading some books, but I have some questions:
1. Which is the hope of a preterist? I mean, if we live in a new earth and nee heaven, if we have now immortal body, which will be our hope for the future?
2. What about sins, death, that are still part of our life? It seems to me that sin is growing in this time of history.
Your answe will be appreciate!

Hi Pres... I think our "hope" is that given time our world will become more the creation God has intended as we learn to grasp what it is that God has for our world -- peace. All too often this peace has been seen as a pie-in-the-sky post mortem issue, whereas we see it as NOW. Not to discount "the beyond", but this life is where we are planted and we are to make a difference here.
Hey I posted some links below that introduce this subject of fullfilled eschatology which I think you'll find really encouraging and enlightening. You just need to "right click" on each link and select "Save Target As..." to you preferred directory -- each download is about 5meg and runs for about 3-4min each.
