Hi,
Just wondering if anyone here has ever taken Vitamin B12 shots or supplements. I have been really tired and thought I was really going down, but my doctor (the first one ever) checked my electrolytes and I am very low in Potassium and totally almost out of B12. So I was so excited. Because so often I blame myself when I am down and thinking I am just not hanging in there and when you are low in both of these elements, you are tired, have depression and just feel lousy.
They are bothering my stomach some, but in just a week my tiredness is almost gone and the depression that came with it:) Yahoo!!
I was also wondering about Magnesium? I have been having migraine's where my vision go wild, and I read that magnesium shortage can cause them. Anyone tried this for headaches.

Thanks,
Nancy:D

Nancy,

I haven't tried magnesium because I don't suffer with migraines, but I've been told by others that it works. Thats wonderful news about how you are feeling!

Nancy,

We give vitamin B-12 shots to some of our patients, it works wonders. Vitamin deficincies play a major role in our moods and energy levels. Glad you've found a boost! Here's an article for you.

Thanks Alicia.
I was interested in the potassium on the link you sent. You know, I never use salt. I never have. There is so much already in the food we eat. I wonder if that has something to do with my potassium being low also.
I was really sick for the first week on the B12 but changed it to the afternoon with a snack and now my stomach has settled down. I cleaned the entire house this week. I hardly ever have the energy with my Fibro to do that. So I hope that the B12 is something I can stay on forever!
Blessings
