While it is true that "beyond" can be a place that one is working toward, it is also a place where one already is.
"Barry" of talk-grace did a beautiful job of introducing the idea of fulfillment here: http://talk-grace.com/showthread.php?t=52.
If we already live "in the new day" or "the new world", then we are already "beyond".
We are not working toward what is "beyond", we are living there. This new world is an every day exploration filled with ongoing lessons, experiences, and coming to know what fulfillment meant/means for us today. I thank God for the journey.
I feel that we are "one in Christ" (Galatians 3:28) and are already "beyond" distinctions of class.
