Hi everyone!
I visited this forum a while back, asked a question about life after death, and then disappeared. Sorry about that! I decided I just needed to spend some time "seeking the Lord" and trying to find some answers on my own first. Also, around that time I made the decision to go back to school, which has eaten up a lot of my time! And shortly after that decision, I made an even more important decision, and proposed to a wonderful girl that I'd been dating for about a year (we've now been very happily married for 4 months! :D Keep us in your prayers!).
Since my last post, I've spent a good deal of time studying the Bible and some of the bigger doctrinal subjects of Christianity (such as soteriology, eschatalogy, ecclesiology, etc.) and have attempted to work out a consistent, systematic theology that satisfies both my heart and mind. I have arrived at some "conclusions," though I'm not sure if they are sound or not. I've discussed some of my ideas with others, and have gotten all kinds of reactions (anywhere from "that's really cool/interesting" to "that's the most bizarre thing I've ever heard of"). Anyway, I'm hoping that by re-entering the discussion on this forum, I can continue my journey of learning more about God and what he has done for us. Also, I would love to share some of my findings with y'all, and get some feedback!
